Emphasis in backend architecture and deployment
You’re an experienced software engineer who can architect, plan, manage and execute applications in an efficient, organized and timely way. You know the systems and languages well enough to tackle any site or product problem with the appropriate solution, and can articulate the process in understandable terms to the rest of your team.
What you’ll do
- Manage and execute back-end code and deployments for multiple clients and site/product environments.
- Create beautiful and understandable documentation at the beginning of projects to set the course for the deployment
- Clearly communicate with your Producer and team throughout projects
- Engage and consult with clients
- Own the ticketing and documentation process for all deployments
- Do great work and be great to work with
What you’ll bring
- 5 years’ experience in back-end development / dev ops
- Fluency in at least 2 of the following languages: PHP, Java, Python
- Ability to write APIs and build microservices
- History with AWS and GCP
- Experience with Containerized Deployments
- Familiar with continuous integration strategies
- Ability to architect medium- to large-scale systems
- Ability to diagram & document complex systems & solutions
- Positive, supportive attitude to remove roadblocks rather than create them
